Of Custer, WI died early Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Ministry – St. Michael's Hospital.
Age 43. Heidi was born June 11, 1967 in Milwaukee, Wisc.
She is the daughter of Dave (Donna) Behnke of Manawa, WI, and the late Betsy (Gillespie) Behnke.
Heidi attended local schools and graduated from Rosholt High School in 1985.
Her marriage to Tom Budzinski took place on November 12, 1988 in Iola, WI. Her husband, Tom, survives.
Heidi was a Medical Assistant for Ministry Medical Group for over fifteen years.
She enjoyed gardening, camping and the outdoors, fishing and
making jewelry.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her name at a later date.
Survivors include her husband: Tom of Custer, her two daughters: Holly (Matthew) Kurszewski of Rosholt and Megan Budzinski of Custer.
Her father: Dave (Donna) Behnke of Manawa, WI.
One sister: Betty (Brad) Bembenek of Iola and one brother: John (Doreen) Behnke of Green Bay, and one brother-in-law: Doug Felton of Florida.
Her nieces and nephews: Nicky and Brandon Bembenek, Eric Felton, Davy Behnke and Adam and Erica Budzinski.
Heidi was preceded in death by her mother: Betsy, one brother: David Jr. and one sister: Sandra.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rev. Marcin Mankowski officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:00 AM Saturday morning at Sacred Heart Church until the time for Mass.
