James C. Rutta, 54, formerly of Plover, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014, at the Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point.
He was born on May 1, 1960, in Stevens Point, to the late Casimer and Martha (Ostrowski) Rutta, and had been employed in food service at Sentry Insurance.
Survivors include his sister, Nancy Calkins of Reeseville; nephew, Charles Calkins, Jr. of Eau Claire; niece, Cynthia Marie (Joseph) Schoenberger of Beaver Dam; and three great-nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Rutta.
