Obituary

James Nachman, 69, of Stevens Point, WI, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026.

He was born on July 22, 1956 to Joe and Cassie Nachman.

Jim married Rita (nee Trzinski) on June 17, 1978 and they have two children, Kyle and Eric.

After working hard all his life, he retired from Donaldson Company.

Jim loved vacationing in Mexico, especially his morning walks on the beach. Jim was a life-long sports fan avidly following Notre Dame football, the Milwaukee Brewers, the Wisconsin Badgers and the Green Bay Packers. Jim will be remembered by his smile and his laughter whenever he was with his family and friends – grilling out, having a few, or playing cards.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife Rita, their two children, Kyle (and his wife Sarah) and Eric; their two grandchildren, Tristan and Abel; his mother, Cassie; his brother Michael (and his wife Melissa); his sister Barb (and her husband Scott Gaulke) as well as his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry & Sue Trzinski, Jim & Kosha Trzinski, Paul & Linda Trzinski, Paul & Jane Sokol, Peter & Sandra Trzinski, Ralph & Terry Trzinski and their many children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe, and his sister-in-law, Joyce Trzinski.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Aspirus Wausau Hospital and the House of the Dove, Marshfield. Memorials or donations In Jim's name may be made to the House of the Dove by Compassus, 1000 W 11th St Marshfield, WI 54449-4053.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Jim will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, 800 Fourth Avenue, Stevens Point. Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:00 AM until time of service in the Saint Faustina Room at the church. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the Nachman Family.
