JAMES N. STRONG:
Of 601 Walter Street, Stevens Point, died Monday afternoon at St. Michael's Hospital (March 19, 2007) AGE: 71. James was born October 3, 1935 in Stevens Point, Wisc. He was the son of the late Forest & Margaret (NEE: Okray) Strong. He attended local grade schools, and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1953. James was a veteran of the United States Army. His marriage to Joan Freeman took place in May 1982 in Paradise Valley, Arizona. After their marriage, the couple settled on Lake Dubay for a number of years, before settling in Stevens Point. Jim worked for Consolidated Papers – Stevens Point Division for over 40 yrs. until his retirement in 1997. Jim enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, wood working and enjoyed his computer.
