James "Shorty" C. Weisnicht,
age 78, formerly of Custer, died Sunday Morning, Oct. 15, 2006 with his family at his side at St. Michael's Hospital.
He was born: Aug. 19, 1928 in Shawano Co. Son of the late Benjamin & Margaret (Drier) Weisnicht. His marriage to Edwina Meverden took place on Aug. 23, 1952 in Shawano, WI. She survives.
James spent his working life as a independent truck driver. He enjoyed traveling, meeting new people and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Edwina of Plover.

Funeral service 12:30 PM Wednesday at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Visitation from 10:30 AM until the time of services Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
