Jeanette "Jeannie" I. Pezewski
Of the Town of Stockton, Custer died peacefully at her home on Thursday January 28, 2016.
Age 58 Jeannie was born March 23, 1957 in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Marion (Cherek) Firkus.
She attended local schools and graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH).
Her marriage to James "Jim" Pezewski took place on October 14, 1989 in Plover. Her husband Jim survives.
Jeannie loved enjoyed playing darts and watching the Green Bay Packers and loved all animals including and feeding them. Her most precious time was being with her family and her two dogs.
In Lieu of flowers a memorial in her name will be established.
Survivors include her husband Jim of Custer, one daughter Heather Firkus of Woodruff and a son Shane Pezewski of Custer.
Her brothers Louie (Diane) Firkus of Elkhorn, Ray (Rosie) Firkus, Art (Mary) Firkus and Paul Firkus all of Stevens Point, David Firkus of Plover, Victor (Bonnie) Firkus of Fairchild and Matt Firkus. Two Sisters Marie (Mike) Gawlik of Plover and Virginia Ostrowski of Amherst. She was preceded in death by one brother Donald.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday February 4, 2016 at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home, 2911 Plover Road, Plover. Family and friends may call from 9:00 A.M. at the funeral home until the time for services. The Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
