IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeanne
Phillip
May 30, 1958 – January 1, 2026
Jeanne (Kulich) Phillip, 67, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 1st, 2026, after a 15 month long battle with cancer. She was comfortable at home and surrounded by her family.
Born on May 30, 1958, to Jerome and Carolyn (Knapp) Kulich in Stevens Point, she attended local schools. After graduating from Pacelli High School in 1976, she continued to reside in her hometown where she began her lifelong career as a dental assistant. Jeanne married her forever love on April 16th, 1983, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church after he asked her to “merry” him. She moved in after the wedding and they shared their first house together in Stevens Point, further settling into their forever home in Plover where they raised their girls. Together they shared 44.5 years of life.
In 2010, they purchased their second home—a cherished cottage in Sugar Camp, WI—where family traditions continued to grow. Evenings were often spent on the pontoon, full of the best snacks, charcuterie arrangements, beverages and surrounded by laughter. They shared the love of a close-knit group of friends in Sugar Camp, who became a second family at their home on the lake. Jeanne was the heart of all nights, singing & dancing around the campfire with her Whiskey Girl hat and beer-can shoes, all while tending to the flames with a pitchfork in hand and Toby Keith on the stereo. No one ever closed out a campfire quite like her… or more times than her.
Family was at the center of Jeanne’s life; her greatest passion being her grandchildren. The difficult and relentless journey of chemotherapy, surgeries, and countless medical appointments was a battle she fought for them. More than anything, she wanted to see them grow up. The past fourteen years were filled with countless hugs, cheering from the sidelines at sporting events, attending school programs and extracurricular activities, sharing countless family dinners and celebrating every holiday- especially Christmas (her Super Bowl)- surrounded by her beloved “littles.” We all know when she opened her eyes in heaven her guardian angel Aleah was waiting.
She will be remembered for being the hostess with the mostest, her way of making every single person feel like they were family- valued and loved, instigating mischief and the ultimate starter of the party. She was beyond selfless, had the generosity unlike any other, an unmatchable sense of humor, and strong faith in God.
Survived by her husband Jim Phillip, daughters Cassie (Chris) Tudor and Abby (Josh) Phillip. Grandchildren Natalie, Lauryn & Tristin Tudor, Memphis & Briar Phillip and fur baby Leinie. Bonus daughter Cari (Chad) Wuebben and bonus grandchildren Lindsay Fuss, Mikey (Ellie) Fuss, Jake Wuebben and Hailey Wuebben. Her sister Marcia (Craig) Kellerman and brother Al (Sue) Kulich. Sisters-in-law Marilyn (Tom) Cychosz, Karen Patton and Joan (Tom) Kluck. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by parents Jerome & Carolyn Kulich, granddaughter Aleah Tudor, parents-in-law George & Geraldine Phillip, brother-in-law Tom Phillip and fur babies Shadow, Sage and Keeya.
