Jennie E. Raykowski:
Of the Town of Carson, Stevens Point, died Tuesday morning, September 7, 2010 at the Portage County Health Care Center while surrounded by her loving family.
Age 91. Jennie was born August 24, 1919 in Michigan City, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanor (Sendroski) Mrozek.
Her marriage to John Raykowski took place on February 20, 1935 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek. After their marriage, the couple settled in the Town of Carson.
Her husband preceded her in death on May 2, 1989.
Jennie enjoyed gardening, crocheting and knitting and flowers. Her most precious moments were spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to St. Bartholomew Catholic Church or to
The Sisters of St. Joseph Convent would be appreciated.
Survivors include her children: Sister M. Janine Rajkowski of Minnesota; Paul (Meta) Rajkowski, Stevens Point; Patricia (Ben) Lehman, Stevens Point; Alice Conwell of Mequon, WI; Agnes (David) Pascavis of Kewaskum, WI; Edward Rajkowski of Florida; Robert (Linda)
Raykowski of Junction City; John (Pat) Raykowski of Mosinee; Michael (Marlene) Raykowski of Plover; Matthew (Kathy) Raykowski of Stevens Point; Joseph (Zaida) Raykowski of Colorado; Jean Shelton of Missouri; Francis (Eileen) Raykowski of Beloit, WI; Marie Raykowski, Minnesota; Christopher (Holly) Raykowski of Sussex, WI; and Jerome Raykowski
of Iraq.
She is also survived by Thirty-Six grandchildren, Forty-Five great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Jennie was preceded in death by her husband, three grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral Mass will be 11:30 AM Friday, September 10, 2010 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek. Rev. John Potaczek officiating. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:30 AM Friday at the church until the time for mass. The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
