Of Rosholt, died early Wednesday afternoon, June 19, 2013 at the Kennedy Park Nursing Home in Schofield, WI.
Age 89, Joe was born October 25, 1923 in the Town of Bevent. He was the son of the late Steve and Matilda (Suske) Danczyk. Joseph farmed all his life in the Town of Bevent on the family homestead. In his later years, he lived with his niece, Rose Kielpinski, and her husband, Norman, and their three sons. His family was important to him, and he would offer his help in many ways. He would babysit the boys, and actually teach them life lessons at times and help raise them.
Joe loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed trapping. He also enjoyed making wood. Being a farmer he had a special love for animals, especially his cats and dogs and one special friend he named Sparky.
Joe is survived by two sisters, Josephine Restoff of Illinois and Frances (Albin) Lassa of Mosinee. Further survived by one brother, Frank Danczyk of Illinois; numerous nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Theodore; and two sisters, Martha Skortz and Anna O'Neill.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Friday, June 21, 2013 at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church in Bevent. Rev. Augustine Bentil officiating. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:30 AM Friday at the church until the time of mass.
