Julius "Morey" Worzalla

Julius “Morey” Worzalla, 80 of Plover, passed away on September 28, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

Julius, better known to everyone as “Morey”, was born on February 17, 1946 to Michael and Rose (Drewa) Worzalla. He attended local schools. Morey was a loyal employee for Copps Distributing for 35 years.

Morey married Diane (Hintz) Worzalla and together they raised their four children, Lisa, Timothy, Kevin, and Jason.

Morey struggled with MS for 32 years and also battled a heart condition, but he still always had a smile on his face.

He enjoyed hunting and woodworking. He liked watching the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packer games. He also loved playing cards and spending time with his family.

Morey was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Violet Bronk, Judy Kluck, and brothers, Ernie and Ronald Worzalla.

Morey is survived by his loving wife, Diane, and his children: Lisa (Art) Skibba, Timothy, Kevin (Angie), and Jason (Jessica) Worzalla. He is further survived by his grandchildren: Heather (Jon) Peterson, Hannah (Nate) Cornett, Riley (Derek) Hoffman, and Austin, Trevor, and Sydney Worzalla and his great grandchildren: Lily, Lucy, and Luke Peterson, Addilyn and Scarlett Hoffman, and Myles Cornett.

He is also survived by his sister, Rita Brezezinski, and his brother, Roger Worzalla.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Morey will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (Polonia), 7375 Church Street, Custer. Rev. Mark Miller will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
