Karen Coopman:
Age 68, of Stevens Point, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 at St. Michael's Hospital.
She was born July 22, 1944 in Green Bay, WI. She is the daughter of the late Francis and Lucille (Blake) Coopman.
Karen was employed with Ministry Health Care for many years until her retirement.
She was very active in the Republican Party and enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors.
A memorial in her name will be established at a later date.
Survivors include two daughters: Kelly (James) Shippy of Junction City and Karie (Greg) Feitl of Minneapolis, MN. One son: Mike (Connie) Dorner of Camarillo, CA.
Six grandchildren: Halle Dorner, Emily, Thomas, Abigail, Isabella & Lydia Feitl.
One sister: Carol Banta of Missouri. Three brothers: Richard (Rose) Coopman of Kansas, Dave (Peggy) Coopman of Kansas & Dan (Diane) Coopman of Townsend, WI.
Funeral Services will be at 12 Noon Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home at 703 Second St. in Stevens Point. Rev. Patrick E. Pierce will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of services Wednesday morning at the funeral home.
