Karen Joan Liebe, of Plover, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 16th, 2026 at the age of 77.
Karen was born on December 28, 1948 in Stevens Point WI, daughter of Sylvester and Catherine Mager. Karen was one of seven girls and stayed very close with her sisters throughout her life. Karen graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1967.
In 1966, Karen met the love of her life, Robert R. Liebe. They were married on October 21st, 1967. Together Robert and Karen had four wonderful children who blessed them with eight amazing grandchildren.
Karen was a loving wife and mother that raised her family and cared for the household. Karen had various jobs throughout her life but most notably worked in telephone order entry at Herrschners in Stevens Point, which perfectly blended her love of crafting and her abilities to talk and connect with people.
Karen enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, putting together puzzles, and having family game nights. Family was very important to Karen and she made it a point to spend time with family whether that meant her husband, her children, her grandchildren, sisters, in-laws, or cousins. Karen also loved karaoke and singing songs including duets with her husband Robert from the artists they grew up listening to. The bond and love between Robert and Karen was strong and obvious to see by anyone who knew them.
Karen is survived by her husband Robert, her daughters Loralee (Chris) Roska, April (Brian) Cisewski, Marie (Aaron) Trylick, her son Robert J. (Emily) Liebe, and grandchildren Taylor, Mitchell, and Nicholas Roska, Chase and Caitlin Cisewski, Luke, Riley, and Joseph Trylick. She is also survived by her sisters Connie Blarek, Marlene Kizewski, Marietta (Minny) Garski, Cindy Klish, Julie Ann Wanserski, and Juliette Wachowiak.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents Sylvester and Catherine Mager.
The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Heartland Hospice Staff and Pisarski Funeral Home for the compassionate care of our beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother after her passing.
Karen will be deeply missed but her legacy of joy, kindness, and love will live on in the family and friends that knew her.
