Kenneth J. Pozorski
72, of 1821 White Pine Drive, Plover, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at his home. He was under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice Services.
Born June 8, 1938 in Stevens Point. Son of the late John & Josephine (Kieliszewski) Pozorski.
Ken graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School. He entered the service on December 4, 1956. He served in the Army and was honorably discharged on December 3, 1958.
He was married to Ann Marie Quimby; she died in 1974. His marriage to Judy Rae Jaquith took place on June 4, 1976. Kenneth worked for Consolidated Papers Wisconsin River Division for 43 years.
He was a member of St. Bronislava Catholic Church, Plover.
He enjoyed traveling and watching local sporting events.
He is survived by his wife: Judy Rae Pozorski of Plover. Sons: Jeffrey (Judith) Pozorski of Stevens Point, James (Jody) Pozorski of Plover and Scott (Sue) Pozorski of Milwaukee.
Step-Daughters: Julie (Roger) Zebro of Plover, Joanna (Michael) Fritz of Chandler, Arizona, and Jennifer (Paul) Fritz of Las Vegas, Nevada.
12 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
Sister: Marilyn (Leonard) Hintz of Stevens Point. Brothers: Ray (Dolores) Pozorski of Stevens Point & Marvin (Edith) Pozorski of Stevens Point.
Preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Lee.
Kenneth's wishes were to have no public services. Private graveside services will be held at St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery. Pisarski Community Funeral Home And Cremation Center in Plover is assisting the family with arrangements.
