Lee R. Kubisiak, 63, passed away on September 15, 2026. Lee was born in Stevens Point on March 17, 1963. He was the youngest of seven children born to the late Richard and Madeline (Morey). He attended Stevens Point Area Public Schools.
Lee enlisted in the Army in 1982 where he was a Traffic Management Coordinator until his discharge in 1985.
Lee was employed at Donaldson.
He married Amy Kedrowski on October 3,1992 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The couple lived in Stevens Point raising their three children, of whom Lee was extremely proud.
Lee was an amazing cook and prepared many wonderful meals for his family and friends. Lee was an avid fisherman and hunter. If he wasn't attending his children's sporting, school, or dance events, he could be found at the nearest lake or stream or in the woods. Lee loved the Green Bay Packers and was one of the best at-home coaches they had. Lee played a killer game of pool, even taking time to patiently teach Amy and actually letting her be his partner in a league.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters - Cheryl Schiefelbein, Charlotte Kosloski, and Celeste (Sally) Seefelt.
He is survived by Amy and their three children-Nick, Sam (Eliza), and Lindsey (with granddaughters Naevia and Hazel) all of Stevens Point. He is further survived by his two sisters, Carol Wanta and Cindy (Ron) Suchowski, his brother Gordon(Janet) Kubisiak all of Stevens Point, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. In leu of flowers a memorial for Lee will be established at a later date.
A Celebration of Life for Lee will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Pisarski Funeral Home, 703 Second Street, Stevens Point. Deacon Ray Heitzinger will officiate. There will be a time for friends and family to visit on Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the Kubisiak Family.
