LEONARD L. PITCHER:
Of Scandinavia, died Thursday morning (March 22, 2007), from an Aortic Aneurysm at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield surrounded by his family. AGE 53. Leonard was born July 23, 1953 in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late Harold Pitcher, and Darlene (Newby) Simonis
of Plover.
Leonard loved playing music, his many pets and hunting turkeys, coyotes and especially the trophy bucks with his sons. Of all the accomplishments in his life, he was most proud of his children, and most recently his first grandchild.
Leonard is survived by his wife, Charlotte Filut, of Scandinavia, and his two sons, Clayton (Krista) Pitcher, and their son Boden, of Junction City; Leland Pitcher (special friend, Missy), of Almond, and his daughter, Jenny (Jason) Blenker, of Amherst.
He is also survived by his mother, Darlene (LeRoy) Simonis, of Plover, and his step-mother, Delores Pitcher, Stevens Point.
He is further survived by four sisters, Cindy (Steve) Flynn of Stevens Point, Candi (Bob) Slowinski of Plover, Pam (special friend, Dave) Zarse of Stevens Point, and Karin (special friend, Fred) Wells of Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Three brothers, Perry (Jan) Simonis of Almond, Scott (Special friend, Sue) of Plover, and Lance (Tami) Simonis of Plover. Along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Pitcher.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS A MEMORIAL IN HIS NAME WILL BE ESTABLISHED AT A LATER DATE.
A Celebration of his life will be held at Shooters Supper Club in Plover this Sunday, March 25, 2007 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. The Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Plover is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be directed to www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.
