Leone K. Ingles

Leone K. Ingles died peacefully at home on October 29, 2026 at age 105.

Leone Katherine Lutz was born in Stevens Point on November 13, 1920 to Irwin Lutz and Verona (Drapes) Lutz. She graduated from Emerson High School, Stevens Point, in 1938, then worked for Hardware Mutual (now Sentry Insurance), Stevens Point, for 19 years. On September 14, 1951, she married Robert Ingles at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Stevens Point. Robert died November 21, 1983.

Leone was a longtime member of St. Joseph Parish, a member St. Anne’s Society, and a sacristan for many years. She enjoyed doing volunteer work for the church when she was able.

Survivors include one son, Michael (Mick), of Stevens Point, who took loving care of his mother, several nieces and nephews, one grandson, one granddaughter, and one great granddaughter.

Leone was preceded in death by her parents and husband, two sisters, Norma (Raymond) Fliehr and Jeanette (Edwin) Karlen, both of Stevens Point, son David, Amherst, nephew, Mark Fliehr, Stevens Point, and niece, Mary Karlen (Daniel) Petersen, Waukesha, WI.

Leone and her family offer heartfelt thanks to Heartland Hospice, and the many friends who cared for her. May the Lord bless and reward you.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Leone will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Stevens Point. In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to Pacelli Catholic Schools, or a charity of your choice.
