In loving memory of Linda M. Baltzell
August 26, 1960-October 25th, 2026
Linda M. Baltzell was born on August 26th,1960, in Plover, Wisconsin, to Gerald and Loretta (Suchon) Buege. Linda graduated from Spash in 1978, went on to Midstate and got an accounting degree. Linda married Dennis Baltzell in 1984 and later divorced roughly 22 years later.
Linda previously worked at Shoney's for 13 years when it opened in 1993, and eventually it was changed into Grazies where she continued to work as a waitress but eventually GM for a handful of years. Linda ultimately made the decision to move on and work for her nephew Jim Benjamin at B&B Paving as receptionist.
One of Linda's greatest joys in life was spending time with her grandchildren, whom she lovingly referred to as her grandbabies. Linda treasured every opportunity to see them and be a part of their lives.
Linda was an avid Coca-Cola memorabilia collector. A hobby that brought her so much enjoyment over the years. She enjoyed watching her favorite television show NCIS, especially her favorite character, Leroy Jethro Gibbs. She even had a sweatshirt referencing his famous "Gibbs slap", a fun little detail that those who knew her will surely remember with a smile. Linda had spent 6months in Alaska and that was one of the best times of her life. She sewed, gardened, put together puzzles, puzzle books (anything to keep her mind busy). Some of the loves of her life were also her pups, Max, Libbie Mae, Buckshot and Bandit.
Linda is survived by her four children, Justin Buege, Thomas Baltzell, Jessica (Laz Perez) Baltzell, Gerald (Jenny) Baltzell, her mother Loretta Buege, Brothers Tim and Dennis Buege, Sister Chasity Pawelski: her grandchildren, Hailie, Jeremiah, Hayden, Abram, Jordan, Arianna, Logan and Olivia.
Linda is preceded in death by her loving father, Gerald Buege; Sister in Law, Angela (Angel) Buege
Our family would like to extend a special heartfelt gratitude of the Doctors and Nurses and entire medical staff at UW Madison Hospital for the care and compassion, kindness, and dedication they provided to Linda during her final days. Their support and professionalism during such a difficult time will always be remembered and deeply appreciated. Burial will be at a later date.
A Celebration of Life service for Linda will be held on Wednesday November 11, 2026, at 11:00a.m. at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home 2911 Plover Road Plover. Deacon Vern Linzmeier will officiate. Gathering of friends and family will take place from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home on Wednesday. For online condolences please visit www.pisarskifuneralhome.com
