Of Stevens Point died Saturday afternoon January 17, 2015 at the Stevens Point Care Center.
Age 90 Lorraine was born May 13, 1924 in the Town of Buena Vista. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Agnes (Podolski) Ciesielski.
Her marriage to Stanley Blaske took place on July 17, 1948 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church. After their marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. Stanley preceded her in death on February 3, 1985.
Lorraine worked at St. Michaels Hospital and the Sister of St. Josephs Convent for many years as a Nurse's Aide retiring in 1984. She loved baking and cooking and enjoyed reading.
Survivors include one daughter Jill Blaske of Stevens Point , one son Paul (Holly) Blaske of Whitefish Bay, WI and one granddaughter Maria (Prentice) Jelks.
Lorraine was the last of her family and was preceded in death by her grandson Peter Blaske, four brothers: Raymond, Barney, John and Donald. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Jill's beloved boyfriend Roger Blarek.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday January 22, 2015 at St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Arul Joseph Visuvasam officiating. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:30 A.M. Thursday morning at the St. Faustina Room of St. Peter's Church until the time of mass.
