Lorraine J Glodowski (Kozelek) passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2026 at the age of 83.
Lorraine was born as the eldest daughter to Albert and Bernice Kozelek on October 14, 1942 in Milwaukee Wisconsin.
She was a proud graduate of Messmer High School in Milwaukee.
On June 1, 1968, she married the love of her life, David Glodowski, and together they created a life rich in love, devotion, and family, raising two daughters along the way.
Lorraine loved to cook, crochet and play cards. She never failed to talk on the phone for hours to her beloved family and friends. She also enjoyed trips to the casino and road trips with her family. She will be remembered for the quiet, steady way she cared for others—always placing their needs before her own.
Above all, Lorraine’s heart belonged to her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband, David, her daughters Michelle (Travis) Knopf and Jennifer (Thomas) Reichelt and her three grandchildren, Madisen (Alexandro Nunez) Knopf, Jackson Reichelt and Elijah Reichelt.
She is further survived by her siblings, Lawrence (Kathy) Kozelek, Betty (John) Rossbach, Albert (Debra) Kozelek, Mark (Tammy) Kozelek, sister-in-law Ginger Kozelek and special friends Richard and Bonnie Nielsen and Sarah Meshak.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Albert and Bernice Kozelek and her brother, Roman.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Whispering Pines Memory Care and the St. Croix Hospice team for the incredible care provided to Lorraine.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Lorraine will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday April 8, 2026, at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7176 Esker Road, Custer. Rev. Mark Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m. at Pisarski Funeral Home 703 Second street Stevens Point, and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
