Lucille 'Lucy' K. Yach:
94, of Stevens Point, died Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Whispering Pines Assisted Living in Plover.
Lucille was born on November 11, 1918, in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late Peter & Gertrude (Kulas) Losinski. She attended local schools.
Her marriage to Vilas Yach took place on May 12, 1943, at St. Peter Catholic Church while he was on leave from the service. Lucille worked for Weber Tackle for a number of years.
Her husband, Vilas, died on December 28, 2011.
Lucille was a member of St. Peter's Rosary Society Rose #5. Lucille was very active in her parish, serving as a CCD instructor, Eucharistic minister and reader.
She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was a very good seamstress.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandra (Timothy) Kluck of Salem, South Carolina, and Camille (Jim) Spatzek of Northbrook, Illinois; and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brother, Donald Losinski of Stevens Point. Sisters, Theresa (Al) Prondzinski of Polonia, Catherine Hellmuth of Plover, Joanne Kaszubski of Plover, and Leona Schulfer of Stevens Point.
She was preceded in death by sisters: Grace and Rosalie; and brothers, Leonard and Carl.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, August 31, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service in the St. Faustina Room at the church. Pisarski Funeral Homes of Stevens Point & Plover are assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lucille's name will go to Heartland Hospice.
