Lucille M. Zurawski
Age 96 of Stevens Point, died Monday February 2, 2015, at the Riverview Lodge in Stevens Point. Lucille was born on September 29, 1918 in the town of Hull. She was the daughter of the late August and Mary (Walloch) Jakusz.
Her marriage to Theodore "Ted" Zurawski took place on April 18, 1944 at St. Peter Catholic Church, after the marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. Her husband Theodore died on September 1, 1998.
In her earlier years Lucille worked as a fly tier and later on was a homemaker.
She was a member of the St. Peter's Rosary Society Rose #13 and the Third Order of St. Francis.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening and birdwatching.
Survivors include her son, Adrian (Connie) Zurawski of Waupaca. Daughters, Mary Lou (George) Kvatek of Stevens Point and Rose Ann (Paul) Kratz of Arlington Washington. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren 13 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 18 brothers and sisters.
The family would like to thank her care givers at Riverview Lodge and Ministry Home Care Hospice for their loving care and support.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday February 5, 2015, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service in the St. Faustina room at the church. St. Peter Rosary society will pray the rosary at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the church.
