Martha M. Mroczek, age 92, of Stevens Point, died early Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Ministry St. Michael's Hospital.
She was born on July 2, 1918, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Ignatius and Rose (Gill) Mroczek and grew up in Stevens Point.
Survivors include her sister, Janet Steward of Las Vegas; further survived by a sister-in-law, several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
The family thanks Dr. Hammeke and Paula, Dr. Barakeh, Dr. Lily, the 2nd Floor staff at Ministry St. Michael's Hospital; and a special thank you to Chaplain Janet Jacoby.
The Funeral Liturgy will be at 9:00 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Letona officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be in the St. Faustina Room of the church on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home, Stevens Point, is assisting the family with arrangements.
