Marvin B. Feltz:
76, of Lake Tomahawk, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at St. Clare's Hospital in Weston.
Marvin was born on September 22, 1936, in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late John & Emily (Hintz) Feltz. He attended local schools.
He served in the United States Army Reserve and the Army National Guard. He was honorably discharged from the Army Reserve in 1963.
His marriage to Jean Shemanski took place on October 15, 1960, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
Marvin worked for Eagle Plumbing & Heating for 13 years, and then was self-employed, where he owned and operated Feltz Heating & Cooling.
He was a lifetime member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans Post #185.
He enjoyed NASCAR racing, polka music, Greed Bay Packers, fishing, hunting, pontooning and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Feltz of Lake Tomahawk. Children, Daniel (Tina) Feltz, David (Sandy) Feltz, and Donald (Lori) Feltz all of Stevens Point. Lori (Tim) Wideman of Amherst, Lisa (special friend, Lester) Gullikson of Custer.
Grandchildren, DJ, Tyler, Cassie, Kimmy, Josh, Samantha, Kirsten, Seth, Brianna and Kim. Great-granddaughters, Peyton, Paige and Chloe.
Brother, Larry (Mary) Feltz of Stevens Point. Sisters, Ruth (Florian) Yenter of Bevent, Juanita (Don) Furmack of Oak Creek and Jean Ann (Ted) Fischer of Windlake.
Preceded in death by an infant brother; and sister, Joyce.
Funeral Mass: 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 23, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Torun. Rev. Marcin Mankowski officiating. Burial will full military honors will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Pisarski Funeral Homes of Stevens Point and Plover are assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marvin's name will be established at a later date.
