Mary, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and woman of deep faith, passed away surrounded by the love of the family she spent a lifetime nurturing.
Throughout her life, Mary had a natural gift for making others feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. Whether through a helping hand, a thoughtful gesture, giving to charitable causes, or simply making sure no one went without, her generous spirit touched those around her.
She devoted much of her life to being a homemaker and raising her children, creating a home where family was always at the center. Her family grew to include 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, all of whom adored her dearly. She treasured time with them and found great joy in watching her family grow through the generations.
Mary shared many wonderful adventures with her late husband, John. Together, they traveled frequently, especially enjoying cruises and discovering new places side by side. The memories they created throughout their years together remained precious to her.
Her faith was an important part of her life and a source of strength, comfort, and guidance, reflected in the compassion and love she showed to others.
Above all, Mary will be remembered for her devotion to family, her generous heart, and the love she shared so freely. Her life touched generations, and the warmth, kindness, and love she gave will live on in all those who knew and loved her.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
She is survived by her three children, Mark Burke (Susan), Diane Dietsche (Don), James Burke (Christine) as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John, and her son, Michael.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the Lodge at Whispering Pines for their loving care.
