Mary Catherine (Bemowski) Feltz (97), Stevens Point, WI, died of heart failure on 09/12/26. She was born in Stevens Point, WI to Katherine (Wroblewski) and Ignatius Bemowski in 1928. She obtained a teaching degree in the 1950s, taught high school English and Spanish, then worked as the school librarian until she retired. She and her husband, Bob, spent summers at their cabin in Canada. During the winter she kept the home fires burning and fed her extended family whenever they visited. She enjoyed baking, playing Uno, and watching Antiques Road Show.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, 15 siblings, husband Bob, and son Mike. She is survived by three daughters, Constance Feltz, Annette (John) Tlusty, and Christine (Jim) MacDonald; four grandchildren - Jessica (Michael) Topow, Dan Tlusty, Katie (Eugene) Woehrle, Aimee (Sam) Blomberg; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service for Mary will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday September 18, 2026, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Plainfield, 622 Beach Street. Deacon Jim Hoegemeier will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Lunch will be served afterward all at St. Paul's Parish in Plainfield, WI. Burial will take place in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Spooner.
