Mary A. Hamerski, age 80, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. Mary was a woman of quiet grace and deep compassion. She found joy in the simple moments—time spent with family, sharing stories, and caring for those she loved. She was always willing to listen, ready to help in any way she could, and never judged others—offering kindness, understanding, and acceptance to everyone she met. Her presence brought comfort, and her love was felt by all who knew her.
Mary was united in marriage to her loving husband, Donald Hamerski, on November 30, 1968, beginning a life together built on love, commitment, and family. Side by side they worked together to build Hamerski Farms into what it is today. She is now reunited with him, having been preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Hamerski, her parents, and other cherished family members. Family was the heart of Mary’s life.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Jon and Lori; her daughter-in-law, Dawn; and her son-in-law, Dan. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Trent, Ashley, Katie, Taylor, Gabe, and Eli, and a cherished great-grandmother to Leni and Jett. She is also remembered by her brother, John Piorkowski of Milwaukee. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she took great pride in watching her family grow.
Mary will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her strength through life’s challenges, and the way she made others feel cared for and valued. Her love will continue to live on in the lives of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. In place of flowers, the family asks that you honor Mary’s memory by spending time with loved ones and showing kindness to others, just as she did throughout her life.
