Megan Ann Schultz, 36, beloved mother, daughter, niece, and friend peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at the House of the Dove in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

She was born March 21, 1990, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. She graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High School and later earned a cosmetology degree. She started bartending at Morey's Bar in 2010 and proved herself to be quite an asset. She was honest, dependable, and hard-working. She was loved for her quick wit and sarcastic nature. She was unapologetic for her blunt honesty. To know her was to love her. She continued to work at Morey’s Bar until February 2026.

Megan’s daughter was the light of her life. She often said, ”I’m living my best life getting to hang out with my built-in best friend.” She is survived by her adoring daughter, Mia Hall, her parents, Jeff and Ann Schultz, her aunts and uncles, Todd and Becky Okray, Lori Fisher and Dan DeKay.

She enjoyed traveling, crafting, sewing, and crocheting, especially granny squares. She truly had an amazing gift. Her creativity was unsurpassed. She was always working on a new project. She loved Halloween, themed parties, and any reason to dress up. Despite 21 years of disabling health challenges she never allowed it to suppress her.

Megan, we love you and we will miss you terribly. Our time with you was far too short.

Megan was truly humbled by the incredible outpouring of love, support, and generosity shown to her. We want to thank you all.

Per Megan’s wishes a celebration of life will be held at Morey’s Bar in the near future. Please check back here for further information in the coming days. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for Megan and to support Megan’s daughter, Mia.
