His marriage to Therese Smazal took place on April 23, 2002 in Wisconsin Rapids. Michael worked on small engines.
Survivors include his Wife: Therese Chesney of Wisconsin Rapids. 2 Step-Sons: Christopher Smazal and Jason Smazal both of Wisconsin Rapids. Sisters: Bonnie (Basal) Powers of Wausau and Carol (Gary) Schroeder of Wisconsin Rapids. Brothers: Patrick Chesney of Oshkosh, Jack (Diane) Chesney of Wisconsin Rapids, Robert (Jean) Chesney of Stevens Point and Roy (Wanda) Chesney of Amherst.
Funeral Services: 11:00am Monday, September 6, 2010 at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home, 703 Second Street, Stevens Point. Rev. Bill Menzel officiating. Visitation on Monday from 10:00am until time of services at the funeral home.
