Minnie F. Wanta

Minnie F. Wanta, age 99, of Stevens Point and formerly of Galloway died Early Friday morning Nov. 17, 2017 at North Crest Assisted Living in Stevens Point.

Minnie was born Jan. 29, 1918 in the Town of Alban.

She is the daughter of the late Paul & Martha (Trzecinski) Yach.

Her marriage to Ben Wanta took place on Nov. 18, 1935. Ben died on Dec. 12, 1990.

Minnie enjoyed Gardening, baking, canning and playing bingo.

She is survived by one sister: Gertrude Glodowski of Rosholt and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will at 11:00 AM on Monday Nov. 20, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galloway. Rev. Agustine Bentil will officiate. Burial will take place in the Parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the time of services Monday morning at the Church. Pisarski Funeral Home of Stevens Point is honored to be serving the family.
