Myron F. Liebe:
78, of 1033 Edgewood Ave, Stevens Point, died Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Ministry St. Michael's Hospital. Born February 10, 1932 in Stevens Point. Son of the late Joseph & Bridget (Betker) Liebe. He attended local schools.
Myron served in the United States Army from December 10, 1952 to November 24, 1954. He received the National Defense Service Medal and Army of Occupation Medal.
He was married to Arlene Coulthurst, the couple later divorced. Myron worked as a custodian for the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.
He enjoyed birds, especially peacocks and pheasants, enjoyed going out to eat. Loved spending time at the Pliska Game Farm.
Survivors include his son: Dennis Helminski of Mauston, WI. Brother: Ernest (Janette) Liebe of Stevens Point. Sisters: Belvina (John) Pioro of Higden Arkansas, Virginia McCarthy of Stevens Point, Maryann Webie of Stevens Point, and Evelyn (Gene) Lepinski of Florida.
Preceded in death by his brothers: Raymond, Chester, Ervin, Adam, and Leonard & Lavern. Sisters: Eleanor Walenski, Esther Gollon, Gladys Slack and Sophie Liebe.
Funeral Mass: 11:00a.m. Thursday, September 16, 2010 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Rev. George Thayikuzhithottu officiating. Burial Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 9:45a.m. until time of service at the church.
