Nancy L. Rutkowski

Nancy Louise Rutkowski, 85, of Stevens Point passed away peacefully at home on April 14, 2026. Nancy was born on September 21st, 1940 the youngest of 4 children to Edward Helminski and Regina (Kostuchowski) Helminski. She was a life long resident of central Wisconsin. She graduated from Maria High School in June 1958.

Nancy married Robert “Bob” Rutkowski on June 8, 1963. Her greatest passions in life were her Catholic faith and her husband Bob. She was happy to be anywhere Bob was, whether they were taking bus trips with friends and family to local casinos or Brewers games, or volunteering in the kitchen at St Joseph’s Church. Nancy spent many years working at local pharmacy stores, and with Bob owned the Rosholt IGA.

She is survived by her son Keith (Dawn) Rutkowski, step grandsons Kyle and Travis Krueger, many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Much gratitude to Nancy’s Aspirus Home Hospice team, and to our angel caregiver Jenny Garsomke, who made Mom’s last days much more pleasant for all of us.

Mass of Christian Burial for Nancy will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday April 22, 2026 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1709 Wyatt Avenue, Stevens Point. Fr Jeffrey Hennes officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church. Burial will follow in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
