Of Stevens Point, died Thursday morning at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Tomah, WI.
Age 75. Phyllis was born March 25, 1935 in Wauwatosa, WI.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha (Stordeur) Remillard.
Phyllis was a veteran of the United States Army WAC. She entered on August 31, 1954 in Milwaukee, WI. She served as a SP3. She was discharged on March 29, 1958 at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
She reenlisted on August 20, 1958, serving as a SP4 in Germany. She was honorably discharged on August 19, 1961 at Fort Sheridan, IL.
Survivors include one daughter, Jeannette Makurat of Stevens Point.
Two granddaughters, Michelle and Gina; and three great-grandchldren: Jacian, Justyce and Izzabella.
Family and Friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point. Burial will take place Tuesday at Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.
