REGINA C.PESKIE

Formerly of 1000 Union Street, Stevens Point, died Saturday evening, March 31, 2007 at Harmony Living Center surrounded by her family, and staff of Harmony Living Center and Aspirus Hospice who supported and cared for her to the end. AGE: 91. Regina was born February 7, 1916 in Rosholt, Wisc. She was the daughter of the late Frank & Frances (NEE: Gliniecki) Radomski. She attended local schools, and then worked as a domestic employee until her marriage to Emil A. Pyszky (Peskie) on July 1, 1936 at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Her husband, Emil, died in a truck accident on December 27, 1958.

Regina then married Harry H. Peskie on August 18, 1962 at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Her husband, Harry, survives.

Regina was a homemaker, and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Womens Club, St. Peter's Rosary Society and the Third Order Society. She was also a member of the Wisconsin Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups of Portage County, the Womens Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Association of Retired Persons. She and her husband, Harry, were volunteer workers for many years at the Lincoln Senior Center and the High Rise. They also liked to play cards and travel.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: 6 brothers, 2 nephews, 1 grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL MASS: 11:00 AM WEDNESDAY AT ST. PETER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH. REV. KEVIN LOUIS OFFICIATING. BURIAL IN THE GUARDIAN ANGEL CEMETERY. FAMILY AND FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 9:00 AM WEDNESDAY AT THE ST. FAUSTINA ROOM OF ST. PETER'S CHURCH UNTIL THE TIME FOR MASS. A ROSARY WILL BE PRAYED AT 10:00 AM WEDNESDAY AT THE CHURCH LED BY THE ROSARY SOCIETY.
