Richard "Red" J Piotrowski, 84 of Stevens Point, passed away peacefully at home on December 15, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on June 10, 1941, to the late Ray and Genevive (Podach) Piotrowski in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

Red grew up in Stevens Point attending Saint Joseph's Grade School and Pacelli High School. He learned the value of hard work early, delivering newspapers, and later working alongside his father at their full-service gas station. He later owned and operated Red's Marine Sales.

Red married Barbara Miller, on February 17, 1962, at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Stevens Point. Together they built a life rooted in faith, family, and community raising their children: Deborah, Douglas, Deanne, Dorene, Wende, and their niece, Julie.

He took great pride in giving back to the community he loved. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1170, the Stevens Point Evening Lions, The Elks, The Moose Lodge, and delivered Meals on Wheels. He had a passion for collecting items from rummage sales and estate sales and cherished time spent with his family. Red especially loved being a grandfather and took great joy in watching his family grow. He beamed with pride in his role as a great grandfather, treasuring time with the youngest members of the family. He was adored as "Pop-Pop".

Red was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Piotrowski; his parents; his siblings; Donald, Joan, Jackie, Robert, and Margaret.

He is survived by his wife, Barb, and his children: Deborah (Dave) Kosobucki, Deanne (Ron) Skirvin, Dorene (Allen) Bialas, Wende (Doug) Oswald and his niece Julie Piech.

His Grandchildren Whitney Kosobucki, Nik Kosobucki, Jesse (Norman) Peitek, Thomas (Tenisha) Serafin, Tyler (Jenna) Serafin, Hailey (Shane) Loesch, Jordan (Matthew) Brzezinski, Raleigh Goodell, Colten Goodell, Katelyn (Sal) Aguilar, Dylan (Jayda) Schulfer and John Piech; and 13 great grandchildren and his brother, Gary.

The family would like to share a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Onitilo and the entire team at the Stevens Point Marshfield Clinic Oncology Unit. The family would also like to thank everyone who worked with Red from Compassus Hospice. Your kindness and compassion for Red will not be forgotten.
