Richard "Dick" G. Schneeberg,
age 75, of 1336 Briggs Crt., Stevens Point, died Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at St. Michael's Hospital surrounded by his family after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.
Born: June 11, 1931 in Milladore, WI. Son of the late George and Anna (Kazda) Schneeberg. He attended North Wood Co. School and P.J. Jacobs High School. Richard entered the US Army on Feb. 7, 1952 in Milwaukee. He was honorably discharged as a corporal on Jan. 14, 1954 at Fort Sheridan, IL. He received the Korean Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal.
His marriage to Roseann Drapes took place on June 25, 1955 at St. Peter Catholic Church. She survives.
Before entering the Service, Dick was employed for Consolidated Papers and Putney Electric. After his time in the service, he graduated from Dunwoody Industrial Institute in Minneapolis, MN in 1957. He co-owned, with his father, Radio Service Co. in Stevens Point until 1966. He then worked for Van Ert Electric for 27 years, retiring in 1993.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1170 since 1957. He enjoyed hunting, cooking, bowling and spending time with his family.

Mel (Carol) Schneeberg of Wis. Rapids.
Preceded in death by 1 Grandson: Robert "Bobby" Jacowski.
Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church. Rev. Kevin Louis Off. Burial in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 PM Friday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home. Also from 9:30 AM until the time of services Saturday morning in the St. Faustina Room at St. Peter Church. The Knights of Columbus will combine with a general Rosary at 6:45 PM Friday eve. at the Funeral Home.
