Of Stevens Point, died Thursday evening, August 1, 2013 at St. Michael's Hospital.
Age 73, Richard was born March 14, 1940 in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late William and Margaret (Loop) Scribner.
He attended local schools. Richard worked for Copps Food Stores for a number of years, and recently worked for Community Industries until his retirement in 2010.
He is survived by one sister, Darlene Rutta of Stevens Point.
Two nieces, Sherry Bennett and Diana (Dave) Bronk both of Stevens Point.
Six great-nephews: Joshua, Jacob, Keith, Billy, James and Joel.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the Community Church, 3516 Stanley Street. Pastor Thomas Gold officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:30 A.M. Tuesday at the church until the time for services. The Pisarski-Dzikoski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
