Robert L. Robertson Jr.

Robert L Robertson Jr, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on 03-16-2023 at his home in Wisconsin with his beloved wife Dorothy of almost 37 years by his side. Bob was born in Chicago, Illinois to Robert & Joyce (Lindley) Robertson and spent his early childhood growing up in Cicero Illinois, then moving to Adams-Friendship, Wisconsin in his late teens. He split time there & in Fort Meyers, Florida into his early 20's. He worked in the tree topping business for many years with his dad Robert.

Bob & Dorothy were young sweethearts & married on April 1st, 1986, at the family favorite watering hole Rockview Inn in Big Flats, Wisconsin. Bob was always a rolling stone & loved to travel & explore so they have spent their many married years together living in many different WI towns (Adams, Janesville, Hartland, Milwaukee) & many other states (WI, FL, AL, LA, AZ, CO) with Colorado being one of their favorites. Bob was a big personality & always lived in his own larger than life way, he could shoot the breeze with anyone & he never spent a day without some Rock n Roll music. He loved building things in his garage, riding his motorcycle off road, making & selling cosplay weapons to go with Dorothy's costumes she made.

He was a great cook & grill master, loved campfires & being outside with a drink & smoke. He loved the mountain & ocean views.  He always had a cabinet full of his chocolate & snacks as well as a closet full of the leather jackets he collected.  He was a great bargain & resale shopper, following in the family tradition. He was also a great dog trainer & he really loved his dogs Phoebe & Piper. He was proud of his family & home, he always went the extra mile to make you feel welcome & taken care of if you came to visit.  He was loved by many & will be missed & remembered always.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy (LaCaze) Robertson, his mom Joyce DuBois, his 3 kids Nicholas LaCaze, Christopher (Heather) Robertson, Holly Roman. His grandson Jr & granddaughter Chrissy. His sister Tammy Robertson & "Brother" Joe Jones, sister Sally (Scott) DuBois & brother Rick (Nicole) DuBois, sister-in-law Dinah LaCaze, brother-in-law David Schiff & his Aunt Mary (Jeff) Tomschin, Uncle Bill Robertson & many nieces, nephews, much loved cousins & many other loved relatives & good friends.

A Celebration of life will be held in the future.
