He was born on May 27, 1946, at home in Stevens Point, the son of the late Gregory and Lavern (Scheski) Korbal. He married Carol Golla on Nov. 27, 1969, at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher. The marriage ended in divorce.

He was also an avid sports fan, especially NASCAR.

He is further survived by nieces, nephews and many other loved relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martha and Leo Scheski; uncle and aunt, Leo and Sophie Betro; and granddaughter, Cassandra Ann Trelka.

He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
