Ronald "Ron" W. Peterson:
49, of 1249 Portage Street, Stevens Point, died unexpectedly due to natural causes at his home on Saturday, May 14, 2011. Born November 7, 1961 in Stevens Point.
Son of Walter Peterson and Donna (Turner) Wright.
Ron attended local schools, graduating from Mid State Technical College with an associated degree in Electronics. He was employed by Donaldson Corporation as a machinist for 30 years. He was married to Lori Austin.
Ron was a Boy and Eagle Scout. He received the highest religious award through the Eagle Scouts. He loved to go camping and fishing at Spirit Lake with his family and friends. Enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, enjoyed sports and was an avid Packer fan.
Survivors include his father, Walter (Nancy) Peterson of Stevens Point. Mother, Donna (Bill) Wright of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Daughters, Sarah Peterson of Stevens Point & Whitney Peterson of Stevens Point. Grandchildren, Kayden Pulchinski & Shay Zarda.
Also survived by a sister, Rebecca (Jim) Stanislawski of Stevens Point, and many aunts & uncles.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Douglas. 2 sisters, Roxane & Debra.
Funeral Service: 11:00a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home, Stevens Point. Visitation on Wednesday from 9:00a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
