Rose M. Dawley

88 of Stevens Point, died Friday July 27, 2018, at Ascension St. Clare's Hospital Weston. Rose was born on January 19,1930, in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late Clarence & Rose (Judd) Moss. Rose attended local schools.

Her marriage to Duane Dawley took place on October 21, 1950, at Peace United Church of Christ in Stevens Point. Her husband Duane died on June 2, 2015.

Rose worked as a teacher's aide at McKinley grade school in Stevens Point for over 26 years. She enjoyed camping at Big Lake, watching birds and wildlife, ceramics, embroidering, being a baseball grandma for her grandchildren and spending as much time with her great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children; Robert Dawley of Plover, Linda (Dave) Dahms of Custer and James (Pamela) Dawley of Marenisco MI. Seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by; two brothers Ira and Ed. One granddaughter; Jennifer.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday August 1, 2018, at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home 2911 Plover Road Plover. Visitation on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Restlawn Cemetery in the town of Grand Rapids. In lieu of flowers memorials in Rose's name will be established at a later date. Pisarski Community Funeral Home of Plover is honored to be serving the family.
