Rose M. Domka:
Stevens Point, died Friday morning, August 20, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Age 80. Rose was born April 19, 1930 in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha (Grulkowski) Singer.
Her marriage to Edmund Domka took place on October 30, 1948 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Torun.
After their marriage, the couple settled in the Stevens Point area. Her husband, Edmund, survives.
Rose worked for a number of years as a fly tier for the Weber Tackle Co. and worked for Worzalla Publishing for over 30 years until her retirement in 1992.
Rose loved to cook and bake, enjoyed fishing and sewing and going to the casinos.
Her favorite pastime was polka dancing with her husband, Edmund.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Rose's name for the Leukemia Foundation.
Survivors, besides her husband, Edmund include two daughters: Marilyn Ebel of Plover and Deborah (Tod) Borchert of Stevens Point. One son: Ronald (Mary) Domka of Stevens Point. Seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Two Brothers: Richard (Andrea) Singer and Norbert (Loretta) Singer, and two sisters: Delores Garski and Henrietta Hintz.
Rose was preceded in death by five brothers.
Funeral Mass: will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Rev. Robert Latona officiating. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home of Stevens Point, and from 10:00 AM Tuesday at the St. Faustina Room of St. Peter's Church until the time for Mass.
