Ruth Lillian Wnuk, 69, passed away on March 29, 2013, at Theda Clark Hospital in Neenah. She was born on July 28, 1943, in Ishpeming, Michigan, to Jesse and Rose Phillips.
Ruth grew up in Crystal Falls, Michigan, and later moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from Greenfield High School in Greenfield, Wisconsin.
Ruth married Michael Wnuk in 1964. He passed away in 1993. They resided in Stevens Point. Ruth enjoyed her family, camping and fishing.
Ruth is survived by her four children, Rebecca (Wnuk) and Jerry Skalsky, Laura Wnuk and Jason Johnson, Samantha (Wnuk) and Joel TeLindert, and Michael and Erin Wnuk; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brother, John "Jack" Phillips; and sister, Mae "Patsy" Phillips.
Services for Ruth will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home, 703 2nd Street, Stevens Point, with Deacon Richard Rozumalski officiating. Private burial will take place in Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
