Shirley “Sissy” Ann Bronk, 77 of Stevens Point passed away peacefully on August 30, 2026. Sissy was born on July 27, 1949 to Joseph and Irene (Schultz) Rader. She attended local schools, graduating from PJ Jacobs High School in 1967.
Sissy had a passion for taking care of people. This led her to a career in child care, proudly running Rainbow Daycare out of her home. As her son Bill got older, she transitioned from daycare to respite care for special needs adults.
Nothing mattered more to Sissy than her family and friends. She filled her days throwing pool parties; hosting cookouts; watching the Green Bay Packers; taking ‘the guys’ to their various events and preparing holiday feasts. Anyone and everyone was welcome, the door at Mary Street was always open.
Sissy was the most generous of souls who would have given the shirt off her back to someone in need, even if is meant she would to go without. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.
Sissy was preceded in death by her parents George and Irene Rader. Her sister Christine Bronk and brothers Anthony Bronk and Joseph Rader, as well as many other loved ones.
She is survived by her children Jamie (Cody) Bronk, William Koenig and Sadie (Eric) Goddard and three Stepdaughters who she loved as her own, Michelle (Miguel) Ramos; Heidi Koenig and Laura Field. She was the proud grandma of Joshua, Nathan and Zachary Bronk, Jadyn Broadway, Mateo and MacKenzi Ramos, Gabriel, Alayna, and Samantha Field, Lucien, Eli, and Jackson. She is also survived by her sister, Joann Hay and several nieces and nephews.
Special thank you to St. Croix Hospice for the support, guidance and love shown to our family.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in Sissy’s name.
