Shirley R. Kuckkahn

On January 24, 2026, Shirley Ruth (Krueger) Kuckkahn, age 96, passed away peacefully in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. She was born on July 18, 1929, and was raised and educated in Watertown, WI.

On June 10, 1950, Shirley married Wayne Lester Kuckkahn. Their marriage spanned more than 75 years and was blessed with two sons, Rick Wayne and Todd Jay (Mary); five grandchildren, Megan, Makenzy, Molly (Josh Slaton), Morgan, and Matt (Lauren); and three great-grandchildren, Cel, Jayley, Clark, and Uriah.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Harold "Tin" and Mabel (Schimelpfenig) Krueger; her brothers, Ralph (Margaret) and Dale (Donna); and her sister, Shelby (Jack Erdmann).

At Shirley's request, her body will be cremated, and there will be no visitation. A private family gathering will be held.

Shirley believed deeply in doing good deeds, showing kindness, and treating others with love. She often said that at the end of life, what matters most is who you loved and who loved you. The circle of love is everything.
