Shirley A. Schmidt
83, of 1350 Fox Lane, Plover, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at St. Michael's Hospital. Born December 8, 1925 in Rockford, Iowa. Daughter of the late Daniel & Katherine (Huff) Milloy.
She attended schools in Iowa and graduated from high school in Wisconsin Rapids.
Her marriage to Charles Schmidt took place on February 22, 1944 at St. James Catholic Church in Vesper; after the marriage, the couple lived in Duluth, Minnesota, Stevens Point
and Wausau before finally settling in Plover in 1990.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and she loved Doxin dogs.
Survivors include her husband Charles of Plover. Daughter Lucy (David) Ksionsk of Stevens Point. Son Greg (Carrie) Schmidt of Prudenville, Michigan. Brothers: Dale (Lorraine) Milloy of St. Louis, Missouri and Avery Milloy of Bellingham, Washington. Sister: Sarah Jane (Ray) Cash of Mentor, Ohio.
Also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by 2 daughters, Marilyn and Phyllis. 1 sister, Betty and 1 grandson.
Funeral Services: 12:30pm Friday, September 18 at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Plover. Rev. Al Burkhardt officiating. Burial in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation on Friday from 10:30am until time of services at the funeral home.
