Sister Dolorea Spychalla, 77, of
Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis for 60 years, died Saturday, Sept. 25, at the St. Joseph Motherhouse in Stevens Point.
Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point is assisting the family with arrangements.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Joseph Motherhouse Chapel, 1300 Maria Drive, in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Dennis Stanchik officiating.
Burial will follow in the convent cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
The former Angeline Spychalla was born March 21, 1933, in Antigo, daughter of the late Felix and Theresa (Piotrzowski) Spychalla.
She was received into the novitiate of the order Aug. 10, 1950, and professed perpetual vows Aug. 10, 1957.
She taught at St. Peter School and St. Stanislaus School.
She is survived by two sisters, Sister Theresita Spychalla, of the same order, Rita Dettman, of Antigo, and a nephew.
