RUSIN, STANLEY J (STOSH)

Stan Rusin, Plover passed away peacefully Monday April 30, 2018 at the age of 74. He fought a courageous battle of Lung Cancer for 2 years.

Stanley was born in Cook County IL, September 9, 1943. Stanley graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School June 1961.

Stanley was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army/Specialist 4 ^th Class in Fort Bragg, NC / Ansbach-Germany.   Serving from January 17,1962- January 7,1965.

He was a cost accountant for Consolidated Paper Inc, Wisconsin Rapids. Stanley retired September 31,1998. He continued his passion for numbers by facilitating his son's businesses.

Proceeded in death by his parents Joseph and Virginia Rusin and Granddaughter   Cierra Lynn Rusin.

Stosh was the loving father of Randy (Laureen) Rusin, Plover, and Michelle (Merle) Coggins, Menasha.

He is the proud grandfather of Tyler, Miranda, Mathew, Jonathan, Shelly and Michael. Great grandfather to Grayson, Jace and baby Barrett to be.

Further survived by his Sister Mickey Pajor (Bob) and Carol Jung (Bob). Former wife Candace Hall, Mother to Randy and Michelle. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Stosh enjoyed the outdoors by four wheeling, snowmobiling, camping, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed taking early morning drives in the country. He mostly enjoyed spending time with family and friends and having conversations with cousin Fred.

We want to send a special thank you to the nursing staff at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau for everything they did over the past couple of years. Especially during Dads last few days. Their concern for Dads comfort and ours is greatly appreciated.

Funeral Service for Stanley will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 4, 2018 at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home 2911 Plover Road Plover. Deacon Vern Linzmeier will officiate. Visitation on Thursday May 3 ^rd from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Full military honors will follow the service.
