Susan M. Hunter
Of Stevens Point died peacefully at her home on Wednesday July 9, 2014.
Age 58 Susan was born March 23, 1956 in Milwaukee, WI. She was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Josephine E. (Mendola) Spruce.
She attended schools in Milwaukee and graduated with a degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.
She owned and operated Hunter House Custom Sewing for many years. She also was a substitute teacher's aide at Jefferson grade school helping out with the students with disabilities.
Susan was an avid volunteer. She gave her time to the Lincoln Agent and Disability Center and the Family Connection Board to name just a few. Susan was also a member of the National and Wisconsin Mensa Societies.
In lieu of flowers contributions to the family to aid in her children's future would be appreciated.
Susan is survived by her children Dominique and Nathan Hunter, both of Stevens Point.
One sister Mary Jo (Joseph) Jones of Menominee Falls, WI and two brothers David (Debra) Spruce of San Diego, CA., and Keith Spruce of Two Rivers, WI.
She was preceded in death by an infant son Ian Francis Hunter.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 A.M Saturday July 19, 2014 at the Peace United Church of Christ, 1756 Dixon St. Stevens Point. Visiting Pastor Micha Schlobom will be the officiant. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. Saturday morning at the church until the time for services. The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
