Susan Peper (Lodzinski)'s Story: 1956-2026

Age 69 Stevens Point, Wisconsin

Susan "Sue" Peper (Lodzinski), age 68 passed away peacefully at her home on April 22, 2026 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Born on April 24th, 1956, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Sue spent her life dedicated to caring for others and creating a warm and loving environment for her family and community.

Sue pursued her education at Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH) before earning her nursing degree from Mid-State Technical College. Her career as a nurse spanned decades of compassionate service. She worked at River Pines for over 15 years, as well as at a dental clinic, and then Plover Family Practice for another 15 years until her retirement. Sue's dedication to helping people was evident in every aspect of her professional life.

Sue shared 46 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Jim Peper. Together they have built a life centered on love, family, and service to others. She was the proud mother of three sons: Daniel (Kaylie Slowinski), Patrick (Mandy), and Jason, she was predeceased by her son Jason. Sue adored her grandchildren, Carson and Taelyn, and she cherished the time she spent with them. She also opened her heart and home to foster children over the years, embodying her deep commitment to nurturing those in need.

Family was central to Sue's life. She is survived by her brothers Michael Lodzinski (Karla).

David (Dolly), John (Tracy), and Barbara (Brian) Rozumialski. She was predeceased by her parents Daniel and Antoinette Lodzinski, brother Billy Lodzinski, and son Jason.

Sue had a passion for baking and found her joy in sharing her creations with loved ones. Her kitchen was often filled with the comforting aroma of freshly baked goods- a testament to her generous spirit. Beyond baking, she found fulfillment in caring for others, whether through fostering children or supporting her grandchildren's endeavors.

Sue's legacy is one of kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those she loved.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
