Tammy Kay Pursley

Tammy Kay Pursley, 67, of Stevens Point, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in Stevens Point.

She was born on September 30, 1958, in Park Falls, WI, the daughter of Clayton and Kay (Moore) Wollerman. Tammy graduated from Lincoln High School as a part of the Class of 1976. Tammy went on to work a variety of jobs before finding her career with the U.S. Postal Service, where she spent years serving her customers in Stevens Point and Waupaca with warmth and dedication. Outside of work, Tammy filled her life with the things she loved: traveling to new places, tending her beautiful flower gardens, crafting gifts for the next holiday, watching the birds flock to her numerous feeders, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. Above all, she fiercely loved her family and friends and will be remembered for her incredible hugs, infectious laughter, and gift for storytelling.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the extraordinarily kind and supportive staff at Circle of Life Hospice House and Aspirus Hospice Services for their care and support in Tammy’s final days.

She is survived by her child Mariah (Anna) Pursley and grandpup Nugget of Fort Collins, CO and her partner of 25 years, Jim Lambert and his children Ryan, Kristen (Justin), and Shaun and grandchild Natalie, all of Stevens Point. She is also survived by her brothers Terry (Penny) Wollerman and Gary (Beth) Wollerman, both of Park falls and nieces and nephew Liberty, Loren, Lacey, Jason, Shelby, and Cheyenne in addition to countless beloved family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister Sharon.

A Celebration of Life for Tammy will be held from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Pisarski Funeral Home, 703 Second Street, Stevens Point, WI. There will be an opportunity to share words, stories, and memories of Tammy starting at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving Tammy's Family.
